Solid tires are occasionally the preferred choice for heavy loads and are commonly used in many high stacking operations and logistics centers due to their ability to maneuver to places where regular tires are more likely roll over because of uneven planes or unsteady surfaces. They are characterized by their high rigidity which makes them very suitable for forklifts while accuracy and stability are substantially important in heights.
They are resistant to impact and cut damage, puncture-proof and they have a high load capacity.
The great benefit is the fact that they are maintenance-free and have low susceptibility to damage which makes them ideal for forklifts in industrial plants. Even though they are solid & may seem very sturdy, they are more likely to to roll over than "regular" tires that are filled with air; which is the obvious reason why they are not suggested for high-speed vehicles.
Another major benefit of Solid Tires is that they can basically be used for a variation of different industrial machines. As mentioned before, you can see them often on forklifts because since they enable the forklift to maneuver to places where regular tires are more likely roll over because of uneven planes or unsteady surfaces.
