Berstorff Triplex Extrusion Lines are designed for high product quality plus maximum output and are equipped with extruders of different types and sizes. The line configuration is easily adapted to the production requirements determined by the profile cross-section.

Berstorff triplex extrusion line was designed to achieve maximum product quality through symmetrical material flow in the die. In addition, the compact design ensures real space-savings. An additional feature to meet precise quality requirements is the special design of the flow channels in the extrusion die. These channels allow for very gentle and even material transfer from the round section at the extruder outlet to the rectangular flat form of the profile. As a result the changes in direction of the material flow in the flow channel are kept to a minimum.

The 200 mm Extruder was initially Hot Feed but it was replaced with a newCold Feed extruder pin type in 1995.
